Hello to Norwegian tokers everywhere:
I just received a neat email from Skjalg and feel compelled to add
a few words to your site.
I'm a 73-year-old American, retired teacher, Korean War vet, married to
the same wife for 53 years and counting. I also smoke pot to stave off the ravages
of glaucoma and because I like smoking pot, i.e., I'd smoke ths stuff if I had the eyesight of an eagle. I'm in California where medical pot is legal to a degree. I especially enjoy smoking a joint on the steps of the policestation as it irritates the gendarmes and is most satisfying to me.
I've written a book titled Grandpa's Marijuana Handbook and made a video of
the same name. The book is a satire and alleged to be funny. Sample chapters
may be found on my website at grandpaspotbook.com along with some of my
other writings. All work is humor/satire.
I've used pot every day for 35 years and am in top-notch shape both mentally
and physically. I've written several books, two stage plays, sitcom pilots, and assorted
screenplays. The text of one of my plays is on my sire in its entirety. It's also a
fact that every word was written while stoned out of my gourd yet each work is
brilliant and unequaled anywhere. So much for the theory that pot causes brain
damage.
Pot is good medicine and it's harmless. The only way pot could hurt you would be if a bale of the stuff fell off a high shelf and broke your neck. They say it causes lung damage. Oh, yeah? I've got a set of lungs like a blacksmith's bellows and can hold my breath for two minutes.
And on and on.
Enough. I just wanted to add a few lines in support of your activities. Check out my site;
you'll find it entertaining and informative.
So smoke on and dream better dreams.

Dear Grandpa Ganja, how honoured I am by this visit.
It is so nice to have the wit and wisdome of a true toker amongst us, and with a opinion and courage like you're showing us, it give's me the strenght I need to continue this crusade against ignorance.
Words like yours are really wonderful, and it is so nice to hear that we are at the same point of understanding and acceptance, though our life's different, both such as in age and location.
And indeed, Evan, thanks for filling in as my very own Grandpa, I've sure missed you.
One thing popped to mind's puzzle: How does Grandma meet your desire for the Green Leaf? I saw you'd been married for 53(!!!) years, which is fantastic, but still: Have her understanding for you and your passion for Nature always been well accepting?
In many ways we think alike, I can tell. The stunt with you toking on the steps of the Police station, that's just how I myself would love to do it.
But if you do such a thing up here, you'd get arrested.
I see the info about your late beginning as a toker, whatever caused you to wait for nearly forty years before you discovered the blessings of marihuana?
The prohibition, I assume?
Keep fighting the System, Grandpa. It fears the likes of us.
All of you would benefit the richer meaning if you'd go here, and get what's beeing told: http://www.grandpaspotbook.com/
Lotta love; Grandson Ganja
