I am going to London in about a week or so and I've yet to found out any concrete written proof that our dearly beloved Cannabis has been reclassified as a class B drug. I've currently only succeeded in finding statements from various fools in the cabinet that they want the classification re-examined.
Due to the fact that I have never been in the UK (yes, I'm totally aware of the shame) I want to experience beautiful England with a set of green eyes and fingers. How strict are the police over there when it comes to Ganja tokin'? And how is the general quality? Do you usually get a stemfest if you buy on the streets of camden for example, or is it possible to find some high grade Chronic? I've also heard that some of the headshops have green joy behind their desks which they sell if they don't suspect you are a evil plantbuster?
Can anyone verify this?

When I lived in Seattle, you could pretty much light it up anywhere, because the cops had their resources focused on more important things. I also know of people caught with small amounts of herb which didn't get in any trouble. As I understand the system in the UK is far more liberal now opposed to the imperialistic yanks?

its been awhile but my understanding is that cannabis is still illegal in uk. but that it is super low enforcement priority. still, i wouldnt blow it in a bobby's face!
