Yes, I've seen the other thread. But I figured it's a bit old, and things might have changed...

Anyway, I've come from Singapore (weed smokers hell). And now I'm in Oslo for a year-ish. SO, where can I find some hash? I've heard around the river by grondland or something.. But apparently you only get poop mixed with puke there... So any places to go and look around, and what kind of people should I be looking for around here, locals, or the immigrants?

And last but not least, the approach. Are the dealers REALLY shy, or do they come up to you if you stand around for 5 minutes looking around?


oh, and is it correct that it's a 100 kroners for a gram?

I havent been in Oslo for many years, but i think around akerselva is a good place. Someone else will probably give u a better answer. You should try to get out of Oslo while you are in Norway though. Oslo is full of drugaddicts, prostitutes and and pollution. No mountains either. I would recommend North Norway or the West Coast. Much more excotic nature and the people tend to be nicer once you get outside of cities too. give me a pm if u go to the west coast and maybe i can show u around.

Well, now i am not from Oslo, but i know that the river is not a good place to find decent smoke. The chances of getting robbed is also present, so you are warned. But if you are planning to stay in Oslo for a while i would adwise you to give it some time and try to get to know some people. About the protitution and drugaddicts <- it is a common problem in all major cities on the planet.

The dealers in Oslo are most def not shy. But anyways there is always a chance of getting ripped off, so as i suggest try to get some friends before looking to hard.

The prices, well if you pay 100 for one gram i will bet you it is not worth smoking. To get something near worth smoking you will atleast have to pay 150++ <-- but again, try to get some friends it will make it alot easier. ;)

Walk up the river from grønland and look for immigrants selling hash. You will have no problem finding someone, just look like you are looking for something. Price is around 100 per gram.

The quality there varies from quite shitty to really shitty, but it will usually get you stoned. The hash there is most likely cut with something to increase the volume, as it tastes a bit strange. Also, there is always the chance that you will be ripped off or robbed if you are not "streetwise". Then there is the chance of getting busted by the cops. Its usually not a very big deal(except a fine and possibly a night at the slammer) but i dont know how that would work if you are staying on a visa.

As suggested, it is better to get some friends who smoke. If youre social and have a bit of patience it should be no problem. Quality is better and its safer in regards to cops.

What Bom says about oslo is typical for norwegians who are not from oslo. Being from a city that is a lot bigger, i am sure you are quite used to these things. Its not really a big deal.

Just for that comment I hope you hook up with someone with madass shit :) I'm not from Oslo, either, but the amount of shitty hash in circulation is mind-boggling. Like all places you have the full range from Shitty McShit to the primo stuff. Sadly, the primo and really good hash is hard to come by unless you know someone with good connections. So like the folks say, the best thing is to try to hook up with someone that smokes, and (s)he'll probably score better stuff than you can from the street. Best of luck, Mario :)

Im not from Oslo, but I dont think you´ll find any weed worth smoking on the streets there.. A friend of mine was in Oslo on a saturday night, and he asked the first black dude on a corner in Karl Johan(the street that stretches from Oslo Sentral Station to the king castle), and he actually had weed that gave a buzz.. But I dont think you should try Karl Johan street, the cops are patroling up and down that street all day and night, so keep your eyes open if you will take that chance :)

But, I think your more likely to get some hash that works if you ask for that.. If its dry as a rock, dont buy it. You can get some decent hash that makes you stoned for 100 kr, but you´ll rather ask some kind norwegian young stoners if they can help you get a hold of anything with a pricetag above 120 kr, that´ll more likeliy give you a nice buzz :) Then you´ll might get some black Afghan, black Karshmir or something worth 120-150 kr, and that is like paradise compared to regular dry "EU hash"..

first: i have never met a dealer that sells you a prerolled joint. i doubt you'll find that, atleast in the streets :)

second: getting hold of some hash is not hard at all, but i highly recommend you not to hit up the dealers in the streets. As mentioned before, shitty hash! Your best bet to score some good smoke is simply to socialize and find a couple guys that smokes. don't approach them shouting "i wanna get hiigh!! can u hook me up plzz!?".. Hang out with them, maybe try to get a conversation going about cannabis or so. show them that you are a fellow stoner, and ask them to hook you up with some good shit when you know they are familiar with it. I am not telling you to use them in any way, you, my friend, have just made some new friends! :)

i have never really been in your situation before, but i know this is how i'd like a person that wanted some hookups to approach me. Tons of norwegians are smoking, any age, so finding this person shouldn't be too hard. i would also recommend you not to talk too much cannabis-related until you know the person is cool with it :)

this is ONE method(kinda how i got my first hookup), though i'd share :)

wow, I actually got together with some norwegian dudes, they flattened the hash out, rolled it, using it as the blunt, and filled it with weed.. one joint lasted for one hour, I couldn't even stand..
