My guess is that they just found a couple and then the busted ones snitched on several others and so on because most of the farms we're owned by vietnamese, but it seems like the cops have been working hard to bust farms, too.

Luck, and probably alittle amateur from the growers, plastic infront of all windows is not very smart. So, I think that as long as you take security serious, there is no problem not getting busted in Norway, yet atleast.

All the farms that have been busted have been commercial grows, as far as I have seen.

As I understand this, and I probably don't, it all started with the rather huge mistake made by these vietnamese growers.
They had their outlet through a window during wintertime, instead of just sending the air up trough the pipe of the house. Wintertime makes dampened air look alot like smoke, yeah?
This being in a well populated area with houses close up to the grow, made the neighbours believe the grow-house was burning, and they called the fire departement. The FD stormed the house to do their work, but quickly realized that this was more the police's scene. The first bust in a long chain of vietnamese unfortune was a fact.
It seems as these guys don't know the honour keeping a secret, and I suspect it to be as a result of their belief in getting an easier punishment if you tell all.

The police are proud as dumb roosters, they believe they've seized all the marihuanagrowers, and that they've made Norway drugfree once again.
Naive, every time.

So, to conclude; this has not been catastophic to norwegian farmers. They've busted a bunch of vietnamese growers, without affecting much more than them.
All is stabile in Norway, and we still suffer under the vast stupidity in the prohibation.

A farm got busted in a house about 300meters from mine. From what i heard they get help from the Power suppliers, basicly they poke the police if they notice someone using more power than normal, or a house where no one lives uses loads of power.

Probably just one of many ways they use to bust farms, obviously its only effective to bust the bigger farms. :)

Yeah, if people grow commercially... well don't be someone that uses an IQ of 1 and wants to profit so much that you dont prepair right...

i've made commercial growrooms to grow for alot of profit.. but those growrooms cost me about 20.000 nok per 40 plants... so do the calculating yourself...

its easy to earn all your investments back with one crop, so why not invest it?

lets say about 60 nok a gram and 40 plants (powerplant) well.. you will have about ~2 kg depending on how good you grow. 60 x 2000 = 120.000 nok... so why come with those cheapass crappy growrooms...

Make sure:

# Good Filters
# Radiation blocking (Thermal imageing heat proof mylar)
# Noise silencers
# Camera Security
# Safe location (not registered at the state or shit... just hire a location)
# Closed mouth...

i can name alot of other stuff, but its just common sense... learn about the stuff the police uses in your area, and take counter-measures.

About the filter, when does the plant begin to smell? And when is it about time, to use neutral? Example, biogrow?

my one plant, went on the floor, so it got kinda broken.. But it seems like it is just fine with it. It's still groing.. Is he/she going to be fine?

And to your information, good marijuana is going for 100 or 150 nok, not 60. Some places people sell it for 200. That's like, ruining people. And ruining the market..

Anyways.. Im not going to sell my shit. Love it to do that :rolleyes:

One of the smaller farms, in a place named Hønefoss, was in a house owned by a police officer:P One day when he came there to see that everything was fine and those who rented were pleased, he discovered som growing equipment in the upper floor, and he noticed that the basement windows were covered by black plastic bags.

About half an hour later, every available officer in the whole county were there to check it, and gues what they found?! 2 vietnamese women, and a basement full of lovely green plants.

Extremely stupid to start something like that in a policeman`s house :P All those buste`s pissed me off, thinking about all the good pot that never even reached the market.

When you grow on that sort of scale, you don't go out on the streets and sell to endusers directly :). 60 kr would be a wholesale price.

I might be judging, but unless the house was situated on a very steep slope, this sounds like a typical cop. :D
