:D I have yet yo try ganja and I am nervous about it, cause since I was a child I had severe amount respiratory based diseases, and hell a lot of allergies, I am soon 20 now, and friends always were teasing me with trying out some weed, I had always fear for it cause 2 years ago I had severe allergic reaction, as it resulted in shock, and I got bronchi asthma, which is very weak compared to some asthma cases, as I need just to stay away from allergens which caused me this (dust) and I am fine. Ive read, and heard a lot of about weed based treatment for asthmatic people, and it seems a lot of them who had asthma for many years, are using weed and they are perfectly fine, in fact they claim they feel better after using weed. I really would love to get off my back with asthma and I urge to try weed. Can anyone give me some sort of advice or assure me that there will be side affects causing my asthma for some reason to go worse? I just want to be 100% sure, thats all. Thanks in advance. :)

1. Asthma
More than 15 million Americans are affected by asthma. Smoking cannabis (the âraw drugâ as the AMA called it) would be beneficial for 80% of them and add 30-60 million person-years in the aggregate of extended life to current asthmatics over presently legal toxic medicines such as the Theophylline prescribed to children.
âTaking a hit of marijuana has been known to stop a full blown asthma attack.â (Personal communication with Dr. Donald Tashkin, December 12, 1989 and December 1, 1997.) The use of cannabis for asthmatics goes back thousands of years in literature. American doctors of the last century wrote glowing reports in medical papers that asthma sufferers of the world would âblessâ Indian hemp (cannabis) all their lives.
Today, of the 16 million American asthma sufferers, only Californians, with a doctorâs recommendation, can legally grow and use cannabis medicines, even though it is generally the most effective treatment for asthma.
(Tashkin, Dr. Donald, UCLA Pulmonary Studies (for smoked marijuana), 1969-2007; Ibid., asthma studies, 1969-1976; Cohen, Sidney, & Stillman, Therapeutic Potential of Marijuana, 1976; Life Insurance Actuarial rates; Life shortening effects of childhood asthma, 1983.)

Some people claim that the slime thickens and becomes easyer to get out of their lungs, hence they breath more easily.
Anaphylitic (sorry for the bad spelling and grammar) shock is, as you probably know fare better than me potensially deadly. If you can get your hands on some weed you should try to rub it on your lips and things like that, try to provoke a physical reaction. If you dont react to this at all you could make a friend 'shoutgun' some smoke in your face, but dont inhale yet. If you dont react to this you might try to inhale a little (from the 'shoutgun'), if there still is no reaction you probably can inhale more vigouresly.
But if you want my honest opinion you shouldent smoke at all....
Brownes is a fare better alternative for you. Im not moralising, just trying to consider your general health status as relevant.
But again. Death by laugher probably issent the worst way to go, just go easy brother.
